The Bishop Police Department is looking for men and women who have that “special something” required to successfully complete a structured and rigorous training program in a ‘911’ center that transitions into a regular position as Public Safety Dispatcher. Level I reserve Police officer: continuous recruitment
Level I Reserve Police Officers perform respective law enforcement duties in a support role, under the general supervision of a Sergeant or designee. Duties include performing a variety of peace officer duties in the enforcement of laws, the protection of persons and property, crime prevention and suppression. Reserve Police Officers also have the opportunity to perform specialized assignments.
Reserve Level I Police Officers are paid $35.00 per hour, up to a maximum 1000 hours per year.
